CANRI Commended in Premiers Awards

04 December 2001

Community Access to Natural Resources Information (CANRI) was one of three projects commended in the category of Economy and the Environment, which was won by the Department of Urban Affairs and Planning for "Helping trees and jobs live together: NSW Comprehensive Regional Assessments". The awards were presented by NSW Premier Bob Carr.

CANRI's award is all the more impressive considering it was based on the results of our first year of operation. CANRI is a four-year program running to June 2004.
