Which GIS Map Server can I use?
Most GIS vendors provide adapters to give OpenGIS WMS 1.x compliance with their internet map servers. WebMap Composer will work with any OpenGIS WMS compliant server. The following have been tested.
ESRI ArcIMS 3.1
Intergraph GeoMedia
MapInfo MapXtreme Java 4.5 +
UMN MapServer
You can easily test others by visiting wmc.socialchange.net.au and using the add layers function within WebMap Composer.
