How do I brand my WebMap Composer applications with my own headers and footers?

Headers and footers for the application live in the 'ssi' directory. You can add new headers and footers in this location and create page layout configurations that use these by default.

While it is safe to "add" headers and footers, it is not safe to "change" the current headers and footer because these changes may be replaced in an upgrade.
