WMS GetFeatureInfo, MIME types and Style Sheets

WMC fully respects service metadata advertised by a Web Map Server.

The algorithm is this:

If GML.2 is advertised, this will be used. To be conformant, MIME type response should be either text/xml (WMS 1.0) or application/vnd.ogc.gml. WMC 1.03 will be a bit forgiving and accept either format in either case.

If no format is advertised, "MIME" will be used.

If neither "GML.2" or "MIME" is in the list of info formats, the first format advertised will be used.

By default, WMC will display the result of MIME or unknown format requests as HTML

In the case of GML, a stylesheet will be used. It is possible to override the default stylesheet with either a layer specific configuration, or by registering a stylesheet to handle the data type.
